Community Happens Intentionally
When good things happen in a community, you can always trace it back to certain people who see life through a lens of possibility. Sometimes stars align and these people become leaders who perhaps contribute in a monetary sense, but always as human beings who care about their community.
That’s exactly what our very own Rob Clements perceives as his continued goal. When recently interviewed for the 2020 RUBY Award he’s been honored with, Rob says: My plans for the future include becoming even more involved in the Great Lakes Bay Region on a personal level. I would like to see the region continue to grow and attract more businesses and residents. I truly believe we can be the best region in the state of Michigan.
It comes somewhat naturally to Rob to care about community having learned from his parents’, Dave and Sally Clements, example and their ongoing interest in Bay City and our Great Lakes Bay Region. In light of the RUBY Award, Rob credits his upbringing: I learned at an early age that with drive and focus I could accomplish any goals I set for myself.
We look forward to the ongoing development of Bay City and are deeply satisfied to contribute to its success!
